A2 Gir Cow Ghee is prepared with the fresh milk of indigenousGir cows. The Gir cow is said to be more tolerant to tropical diseases. Their hump is said to have a specific vein called the “Surya Ketu Nadi” which produces gold salts in the blood when it comes in contact with solar rays. This is why, the ghee made with Gir cow milk appears to have a natural golden colour.
The milk from which ghee is made contains the A2 beta casein protein and is said to be free from allergens. It also contains Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) which regulates cholesterol and improves heart health. Unlike A1 ghee that is gotten from other breeds and causes bloating, A2 Gir Cow ghee improves digestion.
The traditional ‘bilona’ process uses lesser heat than used in automated processing that churns at high speeds. This helps it retain the nutrients and aroma which would have been lost in commercial processing. A2 Gir Cow Ghee made with the bilona process is exceptionally rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins which give instant energy, improve brain function and it is extremely beneficial for children.
