Ingredients
1.5 kg carrots
6 tablespoon Grain2Grind A2 Gir Cow Ghee
1.5 to 2 teaspoons cardamom powder
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup chopped nuts- cashews, pistachios, almonds
1/3 cup cashews
1/3 cup golden raisins
step by step recipe
Wash, peel, and grate carrots well.
Add ½ tablespoon of ghee and heat the pan or thick-bottomed skillet. Add ¼ of chopped nuts and fry them till golden. To this, add 2 tablespoons of raisins. When the raisins become plump remove the mixture to a plate.
Add grated carrots and sauté for 10-15 minutes on low heat. Stir often.
Pour ½ tin (or 400gms) of condensed milk and mix well. Stir at intervals for the mixture to thicken and dry up.
Cover the pan till the carrots turn soft.
Add cardamom powder, ghee, and sauté till nice aroma evolves.
Turn off the gas when the milk evaporates completely.
